A Hundred Plates off the Ring
On 12 September we grilled with Richards Bieratelier in Leitring: a full ring, around a hundred guests, and a tombola to close.
On 12 September we put on a grill party together with Richards Bieratelier, the way it should be done: one afternoon in Leitring, a ring full of meat, and around a hundred people waiting for their plate.
Before the first piece
On the table lay our steaks and Käsekrainer, still vacuum-packed and labelled — the same ones you order through this site. Alongside them vegetables and hot sauces, and the lepinje from the bakery. The beer was a craft beer, and that was Richards' doing — a story of its own anyway.
The ring
The plate is round, the fire burns in the middle, the meat cooks around it. Guests pulled out their phones, filmed, and waited patiently for their portion. One guest said: "Excellent — those steaks are out of this world."
A hundred guests
We fed around a hundred people. Our HorstL played the whole time — nineties hits. The weather was exactly what it had to be.
Tombola
So that it would not stop at food and drink, we closed with a tombola and gave away a few of our products.
And the next one
The day turned out the way we hoped. We are already looking forward to the next.
